  • Distribution Supervisor – Southern California

      Job Summary:

      This position is responsible for managing the entire delivery experience for our Southern California customers. This person manages, recruits, and develops our driver team with the goal of exceeding the expectations of our customers. This position manages all aspects of the delivery experience including scheduling, routing, truck loading, truck maintenance, and customer issues.

      Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • · Provide daily work direction and supervision to driver crew.
    • · Work closely with customer service to schedule delivery and pick-up of rental equipment.
    • · Work closely with warehouse team to fulfill and load customer orders.
    • · Communicate proactively with customers regarding delivery service changes.
    • · Resolve customer delivery issues and/or concerns.
    • · Engage with upper management to implement continuous improvement projects.
    • · Recruit, introduce, and train new drivers.
    • · Train drivers on company policies, company procedures, and safety.
    • · Train drivers on customer locations, requirements, and service.
    • · Manage fleet including maintenance, logs, fuel, and legal requirements.
    • · Design, manage, and optimize delivery routes.
    • · Lead by example. Approachable. Follows through on promises and commitments. Demonstrates consistency between words and actions.
    • · Other duties or tasks may be assigned on an as-needed basis.
    • Major Qualifications:

    • · Minimum 5 years of experience as a distribution supervisor or related field.
    • · Excellent communication skills.
    • · Bilingual preferred – English and Spanish.
    • · Basic computing skills including email and Microsoft Word/Excel.
    • · High school diploma or equivalent education
    • · Clean driving record; minimum Class C license.
    • · Flexible work hours.
